Then and now

Comparing Keina during her 1st month vs now in her 3rd month:

Then-

Had trouble latching on the boob and took about 1h to finish a feed.

Now-

Latches on her own and takes 15-30min to finish a feed.

Then-

Cries loudly for any need and we play detectives to find out if it is a diaper/food/sleep.

Now-

Cheeky her has a 'calling' cry which pretty much translates clearly as 'I am bored please pick me up' plus her restless inconsolable crying which usually means 'I'm hungry'.

Then-

Gassy girl with farts and poops all day that can make an uncle blush.

Now-

Occasionally gassy girl with only 1 poop a day.

Then-

Snores like a piglet.

Now- 

Still snores like a piglet.

Then-

Has very short attention span and is usually sleepy eyed.

Now-

Can focus longer on her toys and follows me about the house. Has a lot more alert moments and engaging.

Then-

Babbles for a short period of time.

Now-

Babbles like she really loves conversation with me.

Then-

Sleep grins where only her lower face twitches into a smile.

Now-

Laughs out loudly at times when I burrow my face into her chest or blow at her toes or tap at her lips with the handkerchief after she sneezes.

Then-

Can only rest easily in the sling.

Now-

Still reliant on the sling.

Then-

Pretty much laid out like a log.

Now-

Loves to swing her arms and kick her legs and can lift them up to her waist.

Then-

Likes Mr. Ducky and the rattling noise.

Now-

Loves Mr. Lion and no one else.

Then-

Spits up milk almost after every feed.

Now-

No longer spitting up much but is drooling all day.

Then-

Favorite lullaby was 'Are you sleeping?'

Now-

Favorite lullaby is 月亮代表我的心 by 邓丽君

Then-

Smells beautiful.

Now-

Still smells beautiful.
