Keina has been babbling 'Papa' non-stop for almost a week now. It's good cos it stirs up lots of fatherly love in Naoki. According to him, every time she utters it in such a gentle graceful manner, it 'tickles' his heart. Which is very good indeed as it means they are bonding well.
As for me, initially, I was only too glad that she babbles again. She has phases with lots of babbling at times and at others, phases of quiet. So babbling makes me feel like she is communicating again. However, too much papa-ing makes me a lil green with envy. Although she is saying it indiscriminately i.e. papa doesn't really refer to Naoki, I can't help but pout when she does and point to myself and tell her firmly 'mama'!
On another news, my dear husband has finally gotten me a wall clock after all these years! I'm just over the moon that he is finally happy with a 'simple' clock face which you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find one these days!
