Keina home day 04

Last night was quite a challenge. Naoki came home late and wanted to spend some quality time with Keina but it was quite late already. I felt bad for him but allowed him to anyway and boy, did I regret it- she was quite a mess through the night and was quite agitated. I realized that when she is calm, she latches on more easily to the breast but when she is frustrated, it really tests her patience and can she scream! Sigh, it was a record breaking 30min trying to get her to feed and my arms were aching. 

And another first in the morning was Keina peeing on me. I didn't realize her diaper was full already. Usually, I check for shits only but didn't realize it could be full of pee so it leaked whilst I was carrying her. It got to my pants, my undies and it got to her onsie. Sigh. 

But apart from the mishaps, it is still quite fine. She is really charming when she offers her fleeting smiles and I am still trying to figure out what she smells like. Babies have a distinct scent and she smells of milk and the baby detergent mixed with this sweet fresh tinge. It is intoxicating and if you get a chance to be near a baby, take a sniff and you will know what I mean :)
