Could be the hormones talking

but I'm addicted to Keina's smells. Her sweaty scents. Her pee-filled diapers in the morning. Her mouth reeking of milk-saliva mix. I am intoxicated by them every day. Nature does make us do crazy things. Perhaps it's Keina's survival skill of endearing herself to me. I can imagine how she needs to bank on the side of unconditional love from me as she continues developing her sense of self. Having my parents around helps to dilute her No's. Goodness help me when I get back to Tokyo alone.

A friend today helped me see how good it is that Keina communicates with what little verbal skills she possesses. She tells me what and how she wants to eat. She is very loud and aggressive when she wants to nurse. She is very insistent to follow whoever's leaving the house- be it ours or at a relative's or friend's. She grumbles like an old lady when we 'bully' her by not giving in to her wants readily.

Verbal word-wise, these are her favorites (in some order of pref):

No/ NehNeh (nurse)/ More/ No more/ Baobao (to be carried)/ Apple/ MehMeh (cat)/ BehBeh (bear)/ WanWan (dog)/ Peas (please)/ Daht (duck)/ JipJip (bird)
